Just For Fun

Keaton has had a permanent bandaid on his knee. He keeps falling down at the ball field just as the previous scab is almost off.

Silly boys. Gav has on Keatons shirt and Breckins pants and Breckin has on Gavins pants. I am so grateful for boys that play and laugh together WAY more than they pester each other.
Caleb LOVES sprinkles. I buy them in bulk. He asks if he can put them on almost anything. Pancakes, waffles, crepes and all ice cream for sure. Another favorite around here is Franks RED HOT sauce. The boys put it on almost anything including crepes.
Ok whoever says it rains ALL the time here is crazy. I think we have had way better weather here than in VA. Caleb and I both got a good burn after a day of baseball. I am still peeling. Also- if you have to water your lawn with water from a hose, I would say it doesn't rain enough let alone too much or all the time. Maybe I am wearing rose colored glasses but I think the weather in WA is great. I do especially love these sunny days we have been having.

So I looked it up and Seattle's average annual rainfall is 36 inches and Washington DC gets 40 inches per year. Having lived in both places I would say the difference is that Seattle's rain is evenly spread over about 300 days and Virginia's rain is unevenly spread over about 80 days. Unless there's an El Nino year and then Seattle's rain goes way down and the rest of the country goes way up, which is what happened the second year I lived there and it was BEAUTIFUL. Anyone know if we're having El Nino this year?

Fun pictures of your kids. :-)

You seem to have done an attitude 180! That's great. We've been having rain (thunderstorms, mostly, which my kids HATE!) almost every day here - Glad it has been so nice in Seattle.
Cute pictures of everyone!

Oh- you are so cute! I miss our Sierra.

Ellie- only you would go figure out the annual rainfall. Love it! I learned something new too - I never thought VA's rainfall would be higher than WA. This year for sure.
