So it has been a while since I have updated my blog. Not that anyone is reading. :-) This will just be random happenings as things pop into my head. First off, we are ALL alive. That is the
first good thing. I have been sick for a week but think I am on the up and up. You can see from the pictures below that I look like I have been run over by a train. After a shower today and some good
ol Mary Kay I am feeling even better. (BTW- I am still selling Mary Kay you can always order on my website www.marykay.com/sforstrom) At the Dr they asked me if I was pregnant. That is funny. I did take a test just to confirm before I got my prescriptions. I had to think for a minute. What if I was pregnant? AHHHH!!
Ok so is Canon not just so cute? He is doing well. After two abnormal
PKU tests, we will be going to
Childrens Hospital on Wed for a sweat test. We pray that it will come back with normal levels. PLEASE!!! Speaking of prayers, thank you everyone for sending them our way. We really appreciate it. We also have really loved our 12 days of Christmas. Virginia friends sent us gifts and we are so grateful. They were very generous and I am so happy. THANK YOU LAURA for thinking of me. I love my Goose Creek Young Women and miss them so much!!

So here is my day. I get three to school and still have over half the kids left at home. Trenton torments Eli all day and Eli screams and makes me
a tiny but crazy. LOVE HIM but he is so loud. He is very cute and
doing very well transitioning. He doesn't love nap time but we are working on that. He is very sweet. I love the few moments when it is just the 2 of us and we can play and sing. Last Fri we took Eli, Canon and Sharon (
Daves mom) to Pan Africa for dinner. I thought I would be a good mom getting Eli some
Injera. He was SO happy. It was also fun for the people there to speak to him in his language. He was very quiet. I wish I could hear what was going on in his mind.

Eli has the most kissable lips.

This is what "SMILE" looks like

This is what 2 2 year
olds do. I am actually not sure who the culprit is. I think Eli but not totally sure. He did the wall the other day.

My brother Josh came for a quick visit. He got to meet the boys. I love having him around.

Grandma Sharon came to visit for a few weeks. It was great for her to spend time with the kids. She spoiled us by taking care of Canon a lot. She was always up late so she would feed him and bring him back to bed. We are getting some sleep. We will be happy
when we don't have to get up with Caleb in the night too. On Monday we go to
Childrens Hospital with him for a clinic appointment. He seems to be doing well. He has been
running low some but we are figuring it out. Eli will have is first operation on Jan. 8th. At our last Ortho appointment we learned that he may not be able to have his hip fixed. The part that needs to go into the socket is not there. They have decided to do an arthrogram (SP) We are praying that this tells the Dr. better information and that my Eli will be fixable. :-)

All in all life is good. The laundry is done although the fold pile is HUGE. The kids don't care right? Dave and I are planning to get the shopping done tonight. We are hoping the weather
allows us to get to Boise for Christmas. My Christmas cards are ready to go just have to get addresses with the names on the envelopes. I have not gotten all the things done I have wanted to but that is just my reality for now.
LOL!!

It was so fun to talk to you last week. Like everyone else said, of course we are still reading your blog, you need to get better, your boys are all adorable, and you're in our prayers. Love to you all!
You are super mom to me! My goodness! I hope you get better soon! I might check out your website. Got anything for sensitive skin? I don't wear a lot of makeup. I get rashes and break out. Not that everyone needs to know that. Anyway, I am glad you are adjusting to being a new mommy! Love reading about the boys. They are so cute looking!

Merry Christmas Chica! Hope all goes well for your trip to Idaho, hugs! Mandy
Hello Forstrom Family.
My wife and I returned from Addis about 3 weeks ago with our son Desta. Rumor has it that our sons shared a crib together in the Care Center. I see from your photos at your adoption blog that we also stayed in the same room at the Guest house.
I would like to learn more about our sons' mutually shared history.
