Dave works REALLY hard. He works long hours at times. There are nights he only sleeps for an hour or two because there is some crisis going on. I have MANY pictures of him sleeping in his red chair with his laptop open, hands ready to type.
For 4 weeks, he got to put work out of his mind. Another bonus of the adoption. He spent the first 2 weeks traveling and then he got to see how much fun we have at home during the day. (I think he was ready to go back to work) Dave says it has been over 20 years since he has had 4 weeks off work.(besides the mission) We spent our two weeks with him at home catching up on sleep and eating fun lunches. Again I was capturing his naps in his red chair. If he sat down, he fell asleep. Glad he could catch up on some R and R.
