Our trip to Pan Africa was a total success. Just watching Eli eat his food is a total joy. (Plus I like the food.) It is so fun to watch him. It's as if a flood of memories comes back to him. The food, the people, the language, the smells. As for eating injera, he has not forgotten a thing. I wish I could read his mind. He is just a perfect boy.

That is fascinating. He really remembers?? I bet the ladies in there just ate him up. I'm so glad that you have a local place so close that you can always help him remember his heritage.
