Another fun adventure-- We watched the weather to find the best time to head home. After one week we headed home and again another fun drive. What usually takes 7-8 hours took over 10. We sat in traffic going 2-3 MPH due to a crash. The roads were terrible. I was amazed at how poorly the roads were maintained. The worst of the drive was when our windshield wiper broke on the drivers side. We pulled over and taped it with medical tape and tied it with dental floss. It wasn't working so well so we pulled over again and tried to fix it. The kicker of all this was that there was no where to pull over so as we were off the road as much as possible, we were getting all kinds of slush in the car from Dave standing out the drivers side door trying to fix it. We were happy he didn't get killed in the process. Once we could actually exit, we did and made a good fix with just the medical tape. We were happy to get home and see that all of the snow on the hill had melted!!
