You know how much fun it is to transition from crib to bed. Trenton has been climbing out of his crib for a while now so we took the side off to make it into a toddler bed. Well, nap times are a little crazy. On Friday I was having a meeting here at the house and he was being a pill so it was off to bed for him. About 30 minutes later I could hear that he was not sleeping but playing rather so I went to check on him. This is what I found. (the room was all picked up prior to his entry) He was sitting on top of the back of the dresser at first and still proceeded to play as I watched him. He was shoving all of his clothes down the back of the crib. He emptied all his drawers and pulled out all the diapers and some wipes. The crazy part of this is that I never heard the dresser go over. I was sitting at the table the whole time which is really close to his room. He obviously got a good rest. Oh and yes, he did pee on the carpet. The kid will not keep a diaper on. I think potty training is coming sooner than I had hoped. Little stinker!

i always hate giving up the security of the crib. the worst.
Marcus used to do the same thing. One time he pulled his dresser over on top of himself and he was trapped. Sammi found him and saved him. That is probably why she is so paranoid about everything now....she was traumatized by her little brother!
Oh maybe I am glad you moved - Trenton and Hadley would have been serious mischief together. Just kidding, I will never be glad about that.
