I was so lucky to get to take a weekend and run off to Utah. I got the ticket for my birthday. I got in on Thursday and stayed at Susys. Taylor and I stayed up until 1:30 am just chatting. Wow, I live in a different world. With only boys, it was so fun and funny to talk with Taylor. I love this girl.
On Friday I got to spend the day with Susy. We went to lunch with some other friends at my favorite place ever Pizza Factory. Then... the spa. We love the Sanctuary. My friend Darcy got me a gift certificate for my birthday. THANK YOU!! I loved every minute of the pampering.
Suzy is the best girlfriend ever. We met about 9 years ago in Mary Kay. She was a new hot shot. We hit it off and have been great friends since. Love you !! While at the spa my grammy watched Canon. After the spa we went shopping and then I got to go get Canon and see my Aunts and a friend.
On Saturday I met up with Sara and went to Ogden to meet Penny. We went to dinner in Morgan and met up with Deanne. It was great fun.
As for girlfriends and girl trips, they are the best. Whenever I get away for just a few quick days I feel so refreshed and ready to be a great mom. I am so grateful Dave is so supportive and I feel so blessed to have so many great friends who make my life complete. These special times are the best therapy!!
