Embrace
So I have been a little bit impossible to live with as I continually sulk about my new life in the NW. Today I was chatting with a friend and decided I will take the word embrace and add it to all the thing I hate about Seattle to make myself feel better. :-) So embrace the moss, embrace the grayish sky, embrace the snow falling down and melting as it hits the ground, embrace planning ward parties, embrace kids who make huge messes (that would happen even if we hadn't moved) embrace the people who do love you, embrace the house you live in, embrace the pine needles, embrace the moles- they're BACK, embrace ???? I 'll keep thinking and I think I feel better already. Embrace LIFE.

What a great way to look at life!!! When you embrace what you have, you tend to love it more, and even enjoy it. You can do it!!!
Embrace, what a great word! I feel your pain as there are days I dream I wake up back in Virginia too! As long as I don't compare, my life doesn't seem too bad...
That's such a Penny word. Is that who you were talking to? It's a good philosophy. I think it will seem easier -- Seattle is so gorgeous in the spring! And on the next sunny day, go find a park by one of the lakes and embrace the beauty of the sun shining on the water. Good luck!
LOVE IT! I will EMBRACE life with you! You can't change it, so EMBRACE it!
I think you need some Vinyl Lettering that says EMBRACE? Just think if you had it posted somewhere in your home it might help you to remember to EMBRACE life! :)
Embrace Costco!!!, oh, and Fred Meyer too. I wish we had that here.
Mackenzie-I am trying to love it all. Thanks. Sharisa- I am glad I am not the only one who misses VA. You are completely right about not comparing. Ellie- of course it was Penny. I am looking forward to spending more time at the lake. Penny-Of course how could I forget Embrace Costco. Also Shauna vinyl would be great if Ryan is ok with EMBRACE... :-) Thanks everyone for your comments.
Embrace living closer to family, having Dave like his job, your kids like school and church and the wonderful (non humid) summers you'll have! You'll get there!
