We have been having a heck of a time getting the boys to sleep in their rooms. All but Caleb are afraid of the basement. I was asking Keaton what he is afraid of and one day it was fire. I guess that was prompted by the Family Home Evening we had to discuss our emergency plan. Well lately I ask him what he is afraid of and to my surprise, he says, "The Jesus picture." I asked him why that picture is scary and he said, "because Jesus is dead." Thanks for the teaching opportunity mister 3 year old. I guess the effort to make them like their rooms by getting them new covers and pillows was just not the trick. If I move the picture do you think he will stay in his room at night?

I'm Scared

Sorry to hear that! Change the picture to the one of Jesus with the kids on his lap? Let them tape pictures they make all over the walls? You are super creative I know you will figure something great out! Good Luck! Call me when you get a chance.
Daylon is 9 almost 10 and it is still an ongoing issue, and he's not even in a basement. Unfortunatly this is one heck of a doosie to try to figure out. Sorry that I wasn't much help. Just my prespective.
I have been catching up on your posts. I love the vegi hiding but I could not resist commenting about the being afraid of Jesus. I love your kids!!
