It has been almost a month of REAL piano lessons and I am loving it. I say real because my mom is a piano teacher and has been for 40 years. We had a lesson here and there growing up. I play a bit but am now receiving the training that I think will propel (good word uh?) me to play the way I want to. It is so much fun and I love sitting down to practice. My boys are also doing great. They miss their last teacher (Jennie) but are really progressing with Mrs. Susan. Last week Caleb was supposed to learn half of his solo piece but told the teacher he disobeyed her and learned the whole thing. He has a good attitude about piano. Gavin wishes I would let him quit but he is doing so well. For those of you who do play, embrace your talent. I think some, like my mom, take the talent for granted. There are plenty of us out here who wish we could play like you.

Piano

Don't let him quit - tell him that girls will think he is cute because he plays the piano.
